RMCET is a non-profit corporation whose mission is to strengthen communities and alleviate human suffering by training and developing those called to care for the spiritual and emotional needs of others.   Our training provides skills to work with the:

Our unique curriculum integrates the best of two powerful traditions of caring for the human soul: Clinical/Experiential Education and Spiritual Care/Formation.  Seminars are co-directed by faculty from each of these traditions.

Our educational philosophy embraces the Action-Reflection model of learning combined with personal spiritual formation.  The program seeks to develop the student's own theology-in-practice and does not advocate any one faith perspective.

Accreditation

RMCET is accredited by the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy (CPSP).  Participants who successfully complete a unit of CPE with RMPCTA will earn CPE credit with CPSP. Graduate Theological Education credit may also be given for persons enrolled in designated seminary degree programs. The completion of an appropriate number of CPE units with RMCET may also qualify persons for certification and membership in specific professional pastoral care and counseling organizations. RMCET also offers pastoral supervisory training in some locations.
